For nearly 20 years now, Davina and Dan have shared a passion for everything you’ll find on here. We both have our strengths and weaknesses, but we know what they are and work as a team to make them right. Many of the articles are a joint effort.
What starts as an idea can with a little tweek here and there become reality, here’s a few of our projects that were ideas and now real.

Tackling the Garden
The house was one project, the garden was going to be another. if we couldnt have a house to relax in for a while, we could at least have a garden and what a project it turned out to be.
At the bottom of the Garden
Some people say there are fairies at the bottom of their gardens, a magical place perhaps? I don't think we have fairies but its definitely a magical place, or at least it is now. It wasnt as you'll see but in transforming it we've made it a peaceful, enjoyable and yes, a magical place to be.
The Tunnel
What we thought of as a long narrow tunnel full of old trees and bushes, turned out to be a little more.
A Stream with Waterfalls
Never believe you cant do something, even if you’ve never done it before. These things are all part of learning and the results can sometimes be quite pleasing.

Every Old house deserves to have hidden secrets, special places that make it all the more interesting and fun.
